ADN Fall Orientation: August 18th 2010

The Department of Associate Degree Nursing welcomes students to the fall 2010 nursing orientation!
The department holds student orientation the week before each semester.  The fall 2010 student orientation will be held on Wednesday, August 18th from 9 a .m. to 2 p.m.  All Associate Degree Nursing students currently in the program are required to attend. The 1st math competency test for dosage calculations in the clinical area will be given during orientation.
For new students, this is an opportunity to meet the faculty they will be working with throughout the program, as well as becoming acclimated with the facilities.  Orientation is also the time students will need to provide proof of all immunizations and current CPR certification as outlined in the acceptance letter and student handbook.  Returning students are required to renew any immunization records that have expired or will expire before the end of the fall semester.
The faculty and staff are looking forward to another great year with the ADN students!
