Do you know a female who is in middle school or will be entering 6th grade this fall? This camp is intended specifically for this age girl.  The camp is designed with 4 pillars in mind: Empower, Educate, Equip, Excel.  Each camp day will have one of these pillars as its theme.   Activities will include team building, scavenger hunts, self-compassion, table etiquette, critical thinking, self-care, recreation, crafts, virtual and social media safety, physical and emotional health, and lots more.  Lunch will be provided daily along with light snacks.

This camp coincides with the REC 325 – Camp Supervision Course in the Department of Recreation and Park Administration in the College of Health Sciences at Eastern Kentucky University (EKU).  The camp experience was developed with a Cross College Collaboration Theme therefore this is a camp which will encompass many areas, departments, and programs at EKU.

The Camp Supervisor is also the course leader for REC 325, Dr. Raglena Salmans.  As well, Camp Directors will be students completing an internship project for their respective majors while Camp Counselors will be undergraduate students completing this course as part of their major requirements or as a supplemental course for their chosen major. Feel free to contact Dr. Raglena Salmans if you have any questions about the E4 Camp.  raglena.salmans@eku.edu or 859-622-2091.
