Martin Loan Program
The Robert R. Martin Student Emergency Loan Fund (referred to as S.E.L.F.) shall be considered as a source of emergency loans to students registered in the College of Health Sciences at Eastern Kentucky University. It is the intent of the Board to use the available funds to meet as many temporary emergency needs of eligible students as possible.
Currently, a student may borrow up to $250 for 3 months at the rate of 3% or $1.00 whichever is greater. Any applicant shall be registered in at least one course within their major within the College of Health Sciences.
Upon completion of the Application Form, a student may bring the form to the HSLRC in Rowlett 312 for the appropriate signatures and further information necessary. Immediately from there, the applicant may take the completed forms to Student Accounting in Whitlock to receive the full specified cash amount requested.
